Run-19 minutes
Yoga-Zen In Your Den
I'm still pretty grumpy today. Probably has to do with the weather and going back to work. I really rely on the sun for my moods. I woke up at 5:30 this morning and thought, "I can go back to sleep for another two hours if I want to", but since I'd fallen asleep at 8:30 the night before I wasn't really tired. And I had forgotten to do yoga last night in my foul mood, so I got up and did yoga. It was actually a nice way to wake up. I felt nice and stretched.
Tonight's workout was on the trainer. The main part of the workout was a ladder of zone 2-3 speed. We started with 1 minute hard and 2 minutes easy, then 2 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy, then 3 minutes hard, 2 minutes easy, etc...until 5 minutes hard, then we worked our way down. (I know....that's what she said...)
My case of the grumpies didn't start to go away until the run. Well, that's not entirely true, they actually started to go away when Wayne changed into his running attire for the evening....
We really like the sleeveless look on Wayne. If anyone can pull it off, he can. (The blur on the right side of the photo is Cheyenne-she was just about to jump on her uncle Wayne.)
So the grumpies went away on the run. There's just something about running that soothes my soul. I love running. And when I get to run with the pups I love it even more.
Tomorrow morning is the early morning swim. I'll be in the water by 5:45 if everything goes according to plan. It's already 9pm. Time for bed.
