A Good Night's Sleep

Today's workout:
Run-70 minutes
Weights-2 x 15

It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do. I feel back to normal today. I re-read yesterday's blog...boy oh boy....I sure was tired! I was asleep by 8:32 last night. I was up at 3:30 because that was seven hours of sleep. After an hour of tossing and turning I fell back to sleep until 6am. I felt so refreshed. I had a nice walk with the pups-chilly, crisp morning. And it's been mostly sunny the last couple days so that always helps my mood too! I think this week and next week will be transition weeks to get into the swing of working and working out. But I think I'll be ok once I get into a regular schedule.

Krisit and I ran the seven-mile Town Lake loop tonight. Wayne had to work later than normal today, so we met up with him at Club Macca. The run was awesome-great weather-about 62 degrees. I had to tell Kristi run on ahead-she's like a yo-yo. She can go so much faster than me so she runs ahead then realizes I'm not there, so she slows down to let me catch up! So for the middle couple miles she took off like a rocket! It was a perfect night for a good speedy run! We met back up at the water stop under Mopac and jogged it back in. Great run!

At Club Macca today Kristi and I upped the weights for some of the exercises. I'm sitting here an hour later and I can totally feel the extra weight and reps. We did 2 sets of 15 tonight and the extra 3 were really tough! My legs are going to be sore tomorrow!

I'm looking forward to yoga!

TTFN!
M :)
