Today's workout:
Swim-90 minutes
This afternoon is crazy windy and there are Severe Weather Alerts popping up all over the radio, my phone, the tv, etc. So we decided to walk for an hour instead of ride. Kristi and I took Caribia, Cheyenne, and Bella for a nice long walk. It wasn't too hot because it was overcast. It was the best Wednesday night bike ride ever! Heehee!
The swim this morning was normal. Uneventful and boring. I have been noticing lately that my neck and shoulders are getting more and more sore with the swimming and the aero bars. I was wondering if it's because we've up-ed the distances or because we cut out the weights. While we were walking tonight Kristi said she'd been wondering the exact same thing about her hip. It's hard to say because we cut the weights about exactly when the heavy duty mileage kicked in. Kristi is going to see the awesome Airosti doctor tomorrow and I'm going to the dentist in the AM.
This time next week we'll be in the Woodlands! It's gonna be here before we know it! I've been checking the water temperature on the Fishing report for the Woodlands lake. Last night before bed it said 81 degrees. But this morning it said 75! Big difference! I'm wondering if they got some rain last night which cooled it off. It's gonna be impossible to guess if we'll it'll be wetsuit legal. Just gonna have to wait and see! As of tomorrow, the ten day forecast will be out for the Woodlands so I can start monitoring that too.
I started putting together my packing list for the event. I'm pulling other people's lists from on-line and comparing them all with what I already have to make sure I don't forget anything. I'm going to post my packing list on here one of these nights.
I didn't get to eat lunch today so I'm starving. Time to find something to eat.
