Today's workout:
Bike-80 minutes on the trainer
Run-35 minutes (3.5 miles)
One word to define me today would be "beat". I took a sick day. I slept in until about 7:30 then headed to the couch. I had a couple waffles for breakfast and then watched some Office. I got up for about an hour and a half to run a couple errands, then went right back to the couch for the rest of the afternoon. I even drifted in and out of sleep! And I never nap!
The workout was pretty good tonight and relatively "quick"! Which is funny because it was two hours long! But compared to the weekends, two hours is nothing. I could definitely tell that my muscles were beat tonight. I was a mile per hour slower than usual on our Tuesday night workouts. I just couldn't seem to get my legs to move any faster. But it was still a good workout. The run was really tough at first. Almost painful. The first mile and a half were really slow for me. Just like Sunday. It took that long for my running legs to kick in again.
Cheyenne came along and Caribia went for a walk/run with Chris. Unfortunately Chris's calf is injured so he's off running for a while. He'll be RICEing it up for a while.
It's supposed to be a "recovery" week, but we have a 90 mile ride on Saturday. But because it's a recovery week we decided not to do the short ride tomorrow night. I know my body will be happy about that.
Ok, time for bed.
