Yesterday

Yesterday's workout:
Swim-45 minutes (about a mile or so)
Bike 238 minutes (59+ miles)
Run-4+ miles

I don't want to jinx anything by writing too much, but last night Chris had to make an emergency music recording so the pups and I had to stay in the front room and be really quiet, because when you walk around or watch tv it gets picked up on the recording. So I was reading my kindle in the bedroom with the pups at 7:30 pm. I must have fallen asleep because the next think I knew it was 10:30! No blog!

The swim was good yesterday. The pool had one or two other people in it, but the changing room was completely empty. It's nice to go swimming early on Sunday morning.

The ride was pretty good, physically. I could tell that I had run a half marathon on Saturday, but other than a little tightness in the legs, I felt pretty good. We went out to Parmer. I stayed in the aero bars most of the time. My back got a little sore from the position-we did about 30 miles straight, but after I got off the bike I didn't have any back soreness at all, so that was a good thing. Here's the route.



Overall it was a good ride. Brad is like a little bike angel. He always rides with whoever is at the back. And that's me.

The run after the ride was awesome. I felt great. Once I started running it didn't even feel like I had ridden my bike 60 miles.

It was chilly out yesterday, about 60 degrees, so I didn't put any sunscreen on. I had long pants and a long shirt, so I didn't think about it. But my nose payed the price. Just call me Rudolph.

Mentally I had a crappy crappy day. But that's an easy one to get over. I think I have a plan that will help with future mental crap.
