Awesome workout!

Today's workout:
Bike-70 minutes
Run-31 minutes

What a great workout tonight! We all felt really good. Not sure if it's because of the back week last week, or the short workout on Sunday, or the smoothie I had before the workout which was chock full of wonderfulness.

The bike workout was on the trainer. It was a lot of "steady" heart rate 2-3 tonight. Almost the entire workout was in the aero bars, which was great for me to practice-to get my back used to the position.

We have a nice set-up under the carport. We're able to switch the direction we face now because it stays lighter out later, so we can see the odometers and the clock. All four of us face the side of the carport so we can fit better. The sun is directly in our face for the first 15 minutes. But it's still a good set-up.

The run was fantastic tonight! I felt like someone was pushing me along-like a hand on my back, the entire way! It was one of the best transition runs I've had. Usually my calves cramp up a little after the trainer workouts, but not tonight! And the pups came along of course, and they did great. I just love running with them so much. It's pretty funny when we run because it usually ends up that Bonnie and Kristi are running just in front of me and Caribia and Cheyenne are running just behind me, by my side, so we joke that I'm the President and the four of them are my body guards! Kristi or Bonnie will call out, "Dog up on the left Ms. President." And then I move to the side to avoid the dog. (They don't really call me Ms. President, but they do call out dog ups!)

All in all a great workout. Great temperature (in the low 70s), great friends, great puppies. I hope this keeps up!
