Still loving the back week!

Today's workout:
Bike-70 minutes on the trainer
Run-38 minutes

More on this cartoon later in the blog.......

This training is amazing. Besides the typos in the book, it's working out well for us. We all felt really good doing tonight's workout. I felt so refreshed. The trainer ride was a lot of steady heart rate three, in the aero bars. Here's a photo of the bikes set-up before the workout.

It almost looks like a professional gym! It was such a great evening-it was about 85 degrees and a little cloudy. Perfect weather! We were certainly Sweaty McSweatersons, but it felt great.

The run was good. A little pain in my right ankle, but nothing to worry about. It'll go away. I got my new sneakers-they're exactly the same as the other pair I have, so there won't be much for my feet to get used to. Carib and Chey came along and they had a great run!

So back to the opening cartoon!  One of us has athlete's feet. It's incredible it took this long for it to happen. Especially because for the past four months someone has been walking around the gym barefoot. And using the pool shower without flip flops. And stepping on the gym floor without a towel under their feet! One of us is a major germ-a phobe, so we know it's not that person, and one of us always switches out their socks in between activities, so it's not that person either.

The athlete sent me an email of her condition today.  Here it is.

There seems to be a block on posting photos of infected feet on here! Hahahaha!

I think I posted this little guy's photo in the blog about my toe. I guess he decided to take a trip to downtown Austin!  Apparently his name is "Digger." And Chris liked this other photo of Digger because he's digging into a toenail like he did to me!

Ah, the joys of training. They don't include all this fun stuff in the training manuals!!!!

Hahahahahaha! We just need to replace the baseball and football players with little swimmers, bikers, and runners!

Ok, time for bed!

G'night!

M :)
