I am sooooo tired. I can totally tell it's Thursday. The quote of the day is awarded to Kristi. We were in the gym and I was doing some arm machine thingy. I said, "I can barely keep going. My muscles just want to stop." and she said, "We're almost done, just a couple more exercises, then stretching, then we're done. And it's Thursday, so we have a nice chill weekend coming up." I looked at her like she was crazy, thinking about all the stuff we have to do this weekend, but I couldn't say anything because I was counting my reps. She must have read my mind because then she said, "And by "chill weekend", I mean "Chill Friday"." Hahahahahaha! And here it is, 6:20, and I can really barely keep my eyes open. Welcome to Iron Man training!
It's been a good week tough. This week felt better than last week. I think it's because I slept better and knew what to expect as far as workouts, soreness, stretching, etc. The swim was fine today-pretty uneventful. The run was good. Perfect weather-about 65. We did a warm-up, then 5.5 sets of one minute fartleking with two minutes recovery in between each one. I had to send Kristi on ahead when we did the fartleks. My old bones just can't keep up! I did my best, and didn't finish too far behind.
Short entry today. The pups are curled up all cute on the couch. I'm going to try and do a pedicure before I fall asleep. EBT-7:30. (Estimated Bed Time...)
Oh, I just realized I haven't eaten anything since 12 noon....maybe that's another reason why I'm so hungry....there's just too much to keep track of with this crazy training schedule! How's a girl supposed to remember to eat!
